MACS Software provides terminal management systems in Saudi

At the beginning of July the MACS implementation team embarked upon a major project for a large Saudi-based logistics company to provide a container and transport management system for terminal operations in Jeddah.

When the new system goes live in August it will control the movement of containers through the terminal to provide the high level of accuracy and efficiency required by the customer. “This is the first such project we have worked on in Saudi Arabia” said Tony Liddar, Managing Director of MACS Software. “It’s a real opportunity to show the capabilities of the MACS technology in this type of application.”

The installation in Jeddah will be followed by a similar project in Dammam later this year.
